What I Come Home to Each Night

At least one of you expected a picture of a cat or a dog, no?

Yeah, so, moved into my new digs, getting used to its quarks and coolness. Best part, so far, is the deck that runs the length if the apartment, and the view. Granted, it isn’t a mountain view, but if you step out and look to the right, you can see a nice sunset, when there’s sun. Sometimes the cloud formations are cool, though, and being able to look out to street traffic, and the goings on behind the restaurant are neat.

I love the sound of street traffic too. Mostly buses and the occasional police siren. Some laughter and loud chatter. I find it rather soothing.

And it’s nice to have a place to call home. Little bit more relaxed each day. Not so stressed about furnishing it and whatnot. That’ll come once I get back to Chicago. But I’ve figured out what works, what I really need, what I can do without and what I want to get down the road.

Another wait has ended. Of course, it’s been replaced with another, but generally, once I get there, I’m good.
