5am instead of 4am. Progress.

Jet lag sucks.

I awoke at 2:30am, thought “Ha. I don’t think so,” rolled over and thankfully fell back asleep.

And now it’s a quarter after 5, which is pretty good. Previous trips, I’ve been wide awake at 4am. Well, awake enough not to be able to fall back asleep.

5am is better. That’s 7am Chicago time, roughly when I get up and go for a run. Especially this time of year as it’s light out then. Not the case in Van. At 5am it is still dark. I should probably check The Weather Channel app to see what time the sun rises.

And rather pleased I didn’t wake up at 4am. Slept quite soundly too. Progress.
