There’s this big tourist thing called the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Actually, it’s a park with the bridge, tree house walks and other nature related activities. A thing to do for tourists that locals seem to avoid. Very much like the Sears Tower. Native Chicagoans have all been up in it on school trips, but we only return if friends or family from out of town haven’t done it.
It’s too nice of a Saturday to stay home, and I’ve done the beach walks and Seawall enough now it’s time to change it up a bit. What better way than to be a tourist for a day and go to the Capilano Suspension Bridge? I couldn’t think of a better idea either.
Getting there will itself be an adventure.
There are various options, including free shuttles from hotels downtown. The more adventurous way seems to be to take the Seabus. It’s a ferry that connects Vancouver with North Vancouver. Sort reminds me of the transit ferries in New York.
Time to let today’s adventure begin.
