Experimenting with iPad App

For the second time, I think, I forgot my laptop charger at the office. And I’m feeling lazy so I’m finger typing on the touchscreen instead of using the better wireless keyboard. So this post is an experiment.

The interface is nicer than I remember. I have a distinct memory of using it once at LTNY last year and finding it OK. Little cumbersome. Not quite as smooth looking as it does now.

Those All-Star MVP #Jeopardy questions were way too easy. And you know, using the WP iPad app with the touchscreen keyboard might cure me of my hash tag affliction. It takes three taps to get there. That’s quite a few taps though perhaps because they are individual movements, taps, instead of a key combination.

It has short keys, kind of. Code, which inserts and More which inserts that “more” tag. Link. Quote. Bold. Italic. Very much like the Web interface I use all the time.

Yeah, this is a nonsense post. Good to know that WP is the same though. I had a moment of panic this morning while thinking of cell phone plans and what kind of #android device to get. I’m so used to mine and the apps on it, I wondered if the Android Market is different in Canada and thus, what apps may I either have to do without or find a suitable alternative?
